Owner, Garland of Grace Early Learning Program

I lead a dual-language immersion, home-based early childhood program. Inspired by Reggio and Waldorf philosophies, I try planning activities based on children's interests that are hands-on for experiential learning.

Managed the Fresno Accreditation Instititute, an accreditation facilitation project aimed at helping child care centers and family childcare homes reach national accreditation through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) or National Association for Family Child Care (NAFCC). This support consisted of trainings, coaching, and technical assistance for providers through various quality improvement efforts, developing marketing materials to promote quality, developing community collaborations, and creating database systems to track and report statistics.

Launched the Hispanic Initiative for Central California, promoting through outreach and networking with key stakeholders in the community.
