About me
I'm Adriana and I'm new to homeschooling. Or I thought I was anyway. I hadn't until more recently discovered that my homeschooling journey had really begun upon my children's births. Moms and dads are their child's first teacher. They are their primary caregivers. My desire for my daughters to grow and learn to be prepared for whatever life brought their way was present from day 1, even as my eldest, Selah, started her first day of Kindergarten in public school. When she came home every day, the learning wasn't over. It continued evenings, early mornings, and weekends.

Moving to Los Angeles for my husband's work was a big change for our family. We moved away from family, friends, and Selah's great school. We were faced with what "school" would look like in this new city, not knowing how soon we may need to move again. Homeschooling was just a distant idea that suddenly became very real.

I am hoping to share what I learn in this process on this page. I've learned so much from other moms and dads who have posted their homeschooling and parenting journeys, and their stories inspire me daily. I hope that even through my mistakes and errors, my stories can help one family in their parenting journey.
